Psychological Drama where a young boy struggles to come to terms with the sudden death of his older brother.

 

The film stars a young boy (7-10 years old), his older brother (11-16 years old). The film begins with the main character playing with his toys alone, setting cutlery out for him, scared of water. The film offers a series of scenes showing the young boy's behaviour following the death of his older brother. These scenes are followed by flashbacks of the child playing with his brother prior to his death, showing their strong bond. The flashbacks become slightly longer as the film continues and they begin to make sense as the blur and exposure of the shots become clearer. We plan to film the flashbacks in a park on a sunny day. The final flashback shows the younger brother drowning and his older brother saving him. With this context the viewer now understands why they young boy is depressed.
